Namely, in the first round of the calculations, by subtracting the secret number, it is removed from the total i.e. x + 10 - 6 + 20 - x = 24. From this point forward, the total does not longer depends on the value of the secret number, so the calculations for everybody are 24 / 2 + 3 - 5 = 24 / 2 + 3 - 5 = 12 + 3 - 5 = 15 - 5 = 10.
